You've probably noticed this already, but Fall is here. Definitely here. It's absolutely here. And if you've been on campus before you know that it will likely leave us sometime soon (and if you're new, heads up). So knowing that the time we have to enjoy Fall is a little shorter than the time that we have with most seasons, here are 10 things to do before the end of Fall:
1. You saw this one coming: consume all items pumpkin flavored! No need to hold back your love of pumpkin any more, we accept you for who you are.
2. Get some fresh air in between long hours in the library and take your PSL for a walk around the beautiful campus; it really doesn’t get any prettier than autumn, so be sure to check out all the great water features around the U before they get snowed in!
3. In need of a longer study break or looking to get some exercise outside of the crowed Van Vilet gym? Take a walk, run or bike into Edmonton’s beautiful river valley where you can explore the paths and get back in touch with nature.
4. Wear summer clothing as frequently as possible. Is it a bit cold outside? I hadn’t noticed.
5. But also, wear all the comfy sweaters and sweat pants physically possible.
6. Catch up on readings now, before it’s too late! There’s still time. I believe in you.
7. Take advantage of the days getting shorter and get some extra shuteye after playing catch-up with all those readings.

8. Get involved on campus and check out all the great events going on around campus this time of year! The sports seasons are picking up so be sure to go support your Green and Golds!
9. Stock up on as much Halloween candy as possible. It’s so much cheaper this early into October and hey, it’s the perfect treat while studying for midterms.
(Plus we've heard rumours that InfoLink will be handing out to campus Trick or Treaters on Halloween...)
10. Need to de-stress before or after midterms? The Edmonton Corn Maze is a great place to get some stress therapy with the petting zoo or maybe get some frustration out by shooting targets with potatoes!

Hi, I’m Paige! I’m a fourth year student aspiring to become a Conference Interpreter after completing a bachelor of arts in French, Spanish and Japanese. I have a passion for everything cultural and am a total linguistic nerd.
Away from my favorite study spot on campus, you can find me training with the Rowing Team or taking naps wherever possible. I love getting involved on campus and meeting new people so I’m always attending events happening around the University.
I hope to share stories that highlight student life at the U of A; showcasing the bright and creative minds we have here at the U. I also hope to provide you with helpful tips to improve the time that you spend here on campus.
